Peoples Gas Enlists Brandmark Advertising to Help Prevent Damage

TECO Peoples Gas tapped Brandmark Advertising to inform the public of the importance of calling 811 before digging in their yards.

People who call 811 will have their underground utility lines marked for free to prevent them from accidentally damaging the lines. Damaging an underground utility line can lead to power outages, expensive repairs and fines. After receiving an 811 call, Peoples Gas will send a technician to mark the underground utility lines within 48 hours.

The campaign consisted of pre-roll videos and banner ads targeted to homeowners and contractors in the markets most effected by damage from digging.
